But here’s the kicker – it’s not just any program; it’s a chance to transform lives and make a lasting impact.
In this beautiful corner of the world, where tourism thrives and English is the key to unlocking opportunities, there’s a unique need. We’re inviting you to be a beacon of knowledge and hope in the lives of children aged 6 to 12.

But there’s more to this experience than teaching; it’s about mutual growth. We believe that you will not only teach but be inspired and motivated by these young minds. You’ll leave behind more than just knowledge; you’ll leave a mark on their hearts and lives.
Cultural exchange is a vital component of this program. These Filipino kids are eager to explore the world and learn about foreign lands, including your culture, traditions, and stories. So, bring a piece of your home with you, be it photos, mementos, or tales. Share your world, and they’ll share theirs in return.
Teaching is a noble calling, and it comes with great responsibility. Your role is not limited to teaching English; you’ll prepare lessons, organize activities, and create a dynamic learning environment. You’ll be part of a supportive team, working closely with local teachers to provide the best education.

Environmental Conservation Palawan
Immerse yourself in the restoration of Tigman Village’s precious mangrove areas, which have suffered a drastic decline over the past decade. Join us in preserving Palawan’s invaluable mangrove plantations, which serve as critical habitats for marine life. This unique ecosystem acts as a coastal barrier, safeguarding against storm surges and preventing beach erosion. As part of our eco-efforts, we’ll also engage in planting mahogany and moringa tree seeds, fostering a greener future for the local community.
Nestled within the captivating Mimaropa region, the province of Palawan is a true gem, boasting wildlife sanctuaries, marine reserves, and world heritage sites. As the home of Palawan Island, renowned for its exceptional biodiversity, the area’s stunning seascapes have garnered significant local attention for conservation efforts.
Through this project, we aspire to conserve and rejuvenate the diminishing mangrove sites that have experienced a rapid decline in recent years. Achieving this ambitious goal requires educating the younger generations and actively planting new mangroves. We invite you to become a stalwart defender of our natural coastal barrier, playing a vital role in mitigating storm surges, combating beach erosion, and keeping our beaches pristine. Furthermore, we need your assistance in instilling a sense of environmental conservation among the local children through engaging training sessions.
In our tree planting initiative, we have carefully selected Moringa and Mahogany seeds due to their manifold benefits, local availability, and adaptability to the region. Mahogany is renowned worldwide for its exquisite wood, valued for its beauty, strength, and durability. However, few are aware of its medicinal properties, as the seeds contain saponins and flavonoids, which may aid in fever treatment, cholesterol reduction, and improved blood circulation.
Moringa, often hailed as a “superfood” or the “miracle tree,” offers a plethora of health benefits. Its pods, leaves, seeds, and roots are all edible and treasured by local villagers for their potential medicinal uses. From prevention to treatment of various diseases, Moringa holds a special place in their home remedies. Additionally, its pods and leaves find their way into local cuisine, complementing fish or meat dishes splendidly.
This program is tailor-made for individuals who possess good physical fitness, boundless enthusiasm, and an unwavering passion for effecting positive change for the environment and the local community. Please note that tide changes can impact water levels and may affect your ability to complete certain tasks in the mangroves. In such cases, our knowledgeable coordinators will guide you toward alternative activities. Your schedule will be communicated to you in the event of any adjustments due to weather conditions, local factors, or unforeseen circumstances.
Let’s embark on this transformative journey together, starting each day with a nourishing breakfast. We’ll then delve into the crucial task of mangrove planting, guided by experts and locals who share your dedication. After a rewarding morning’s work, return to the center for a fulfilling lunch, recharging your energy for the coastal clean-up efforts that follow. As the day draws to a close, gather at the center once again for a delightful dinner, reflecting on the progress made and the bonds forged.
Our schedule for the week revolves around our core mission. On Tuesday, alongside mangrove planting, we’ll prepare Mahogany and Moringa seeds at the camp nursery. Wednesday brings the opportunity to engage in environmental conservation lessons, while Thursday features an enlightening lecture on the subject. Finally, on Friday, we’ll conclude the week by planting trees, specifically Mahogany and Moringa, as we contribute to a greener future.
Let’s keep in mind that this schedule remains flexible, allowing for adjustments based on weather conditions, local considerations, and unforeseen circumstances.

Ervaringsverhalen Abroad Escape

Mijn vrijwilligersreis was absoluut de beste reis en ervaring van mijn leven!

Het is een geweldig programma! Ik heb echt genoten van mijn tijd. Het was een ervaring die ik nooit zal vergeten.

Mijn ervaring was in veel opzichten positief.

Bedankt!
