Abroad Escape is a volunteer placement and internship agency.
We help students, graduates, young professionals, gap year travellers, and first-time travellers arrange volunteer programs and internships operated by independent local program partners around the world.

4. Confirm Your Place

6. Travel and Participate
Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed by the local program partner and begin your volunteer placement or internship.
Accommodation, airport pickup, orientation, and local support are provided by the local program partner where included.

A Note From our Founder Kurt
Travel has shaped much of my life.
After graduating from college, I spent a year travelling around the world before living in Asia for five years. What began as a personal adventure eventually became a career helping people experience different cultures, destinations, and ways of life.
Over the past two decades, I have worked with volunteer programs, internships, and travel organisations across multiple destinations.
Abroad Escape was created to help travellers plan memorable experiences with confidence, backed by practical advice and carefully selected travel partners.

Is Abroad Escape suitable for first-time travellers?
Yes. Many participants are travelling independently for the first time. Programs are designed to help volunteers and interns settle into a new destination with local orientation and support from the local program partner.
Who provides accommodation and local support?

Do I need previous experience?
