14-Day Itinerary: The Bali Loop
Phase 1: The Spiritual Heart (Ubud)
Day 1: Arrival & The Squad Orientation
Touch down at Denpasar International Airport (DPS). Our team will be waiting to whisk you away to our center in Ubud, the town famous for its emerald rice paddies and ancient shrines.
After settling into the center and meeting your squad, we’ll hold a short orientation to get you acclimated to the Balinese pace of life.
We kick things off with a traditional Welcome Dinner, followed by some well-deserved rest to recover from your journey.
Meals: Dinner included
Day 2: Monkeys, Palaces & Bahasa Basics
We start with an essential briefing on Balinese culture—learning the “Do’s and Don’ts” to ensure we travel with respect.
Then, we hit the ground: walking through the Sacred Monkey Forest, exploring the intricate carvings of Ubud Palace, and navigating the vibrant Ubud Market.
In the evening, you’ll have your first Bahasa Indonesia lesson, giving you the “street smart” language skills needed to connect with the local community.
Meals: Breakfact/Lunch/Dinner included
Day 3: Impact Kick-off & Fire Dance
Today, your Social Service Learning begins. Depending on the community’s current needs and your preferences, you’ll dive into teaching at a local kindergarten, assisting with eco-construction, or supporting environmental conservation.
This is hands-on, high-energy work alongside local partners.
As the sun sets, we head to a traditional Balinese Dance Show, where the rhythmic chanting and fire-lit performances bring ancient legends to life.
Meals: Breakfact/Lunch/Dinner included
Day 4: Community Projects & Traditional Movement
We head back to our project sites for a second day of dedicated work.
Whether you are painting a classroom or helping build sustainable infrastructure, your presence is part of a 25-year legacy of impact.
After a productive afternoon, we shift from observing to doing—you’ll participate in a Balinese Dance Class, learning the highly stylized hand and eye movements that define this unique art form.
Meals: Breakfact/Lunch/Dinner included
Day 5: Artisan Roots & The Family Kitchen
Experience the delicate art of Batik Painting, a traditional wax-resist dyeing technique that is central to Indonesian identity.
Following the art session, we enter the kitchen for a Balinese Cooking Class. You’ll learn how to grind local spices like galangal and turmeric into a perfect Base Gede (spice paste).
The day ends with a Special Family Dinner, where the squad enjoys the authentic feast.
Meals: Breakfact/Lunch/Dinner included
Day 6: Holy Waters & Flower Offerings
Master the art of Canang Sari—the daily flower offerings you see on every street corner.
Once you’ve crafted your own, we journey to Tirta Empul, a national heritage holy water temple. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in a traditional purification ritual in the sacred springs.
The evening is yours to relax, grab a coffee in an Ubud café, or explore hidden temples with the group.
Meals: Breakfact/Lunch/Dinner included
Day 7: Northern Cascades & World Heritage Terraces
We head North for a day of epic landscapes. We visit the thundering Gitgit Waterfall and the iconic Beratan Lake, where a 17th-century temple appears to float on the water.
The highlight is the Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, a UNESCO World Heritage site showcasing the ancient Subak irrigation system.
It’s a day of pure “Discovery,” ending with a packing session for our departure to the islands tomorrow.
Meals: Breakfact/Lunch/Dinner included
Phase 2: Marine Conservation (Nusa Penida)
Day 8: The Island Frontier
After a final breakfast in Ubud, we head to the harbor. At 3:00 PM, we board a fast boat across the Lombok Strait to Nusa Penida, a rugged island that feels like a trip back in time.
Once we check into our coastal accommodation, the rest of the day is yours to explore the shoreline or relax.
Please note: Lunch is not included today to allow for travel flexibility.
Meals: Breakfact/Dinner included
Day 9: Turtle Conservation
The Marine Conservation Project begins. We hold a comprehensive meeting to explain the biology and threats facing Bali’s sea turtles.
Then, it’s straight to the tanks—cleaning, feeding, and managing the health of the rescued turtles. We may also participate in crab catching (turtle food) or targeted beach clean-ups.
In the evening, we watch a conservation documentary to deepen our understanding of these endangered giants.
Meals: Breakfact/Lunch/Dinner included
Day 10: Turtle Conservation
Your second day at the turtle project involves a rotation of duties.
Assisting the local conservationists, you’ll help maintain the welfare standards required to ensure hatchlings have the best chance of survival upon release.
After the “Real Work” is done, the afternoon is free for the group to find a local warung or relax at one of the island’s hidden viewpoints.
Meals: Breakfact/Lunch/Dinner included
Day 11: The Secret Mangroves of Lembongan
We hop on a local boat to explore the neighboring islands of Nusa Lembongan and Ceningan.
The focus today is the Mangrove Forest. We’ll navigate these vital coastal ecosystems by boat, learning how they act as nurseries for marine life and “carbon sinks” for the planet. It’s a day of environmental education mixed with island exploration.
Meals: Breakfact/Lunch/Dinner included
Day 12: Cave Temples & Diamond Beach
We start at Goa Giri Putri, a massive, hidden cave temple accessed through a tiny crack in the rock that opens into a cathedral-sized spiritual space.
From the underworld to the heavens, we continue to Diamond Beach, arguably the most beautiful view in Bali, featuring jagged white cliffs and turquoise water.
We celebrate with a Dinner and Bonfire on the beach.
Meals: Breakfact/Lunch/Dinner included
Day 13: The Money Shot: Turtle Release & Kelingking
The emotional peak of the program. Together as a squad, we participate in a Turtle Release, watching healthy hatchlings make their journey to the ocean.
With the “Real Impact” complete, we head to the island’s most famous spot: Kelingking Beach (The T-Rex Bay).
We’ll also visit Broken Beach and Angel’s Billabong for some final, iconic photos of Bali’s wild coastline.
Meals: Breakfact/Lunch/Dinner included
Day 14: Final Farewells & Departure
One last breakfast with the local team and your squad. We pack our bags, exchange social handles, and say our goodbyes.
We provide the transfer back to the harbor and then to the airport (DPS) for your flight home or your next destination.
You leave Bali having given back more than you took.
